ARE WE FINALLY GETTING OUR SUMMER?!
We're now in July, which is prime summer time, for two reasons!
One - Everybody who is in school, breaks up this month for 5/6 weeks- or however many weeks you get. A joy to us all!
Two - It's right in the middle of summer! I class my summer to start in May, and end in September. So, this month and next month is basically summer mayhem that I'm am looking forward to the sun. I don't tan, nor burn (unfortunately) but I do love my shorts and smoothies and ice-cream!
I bet that a lot of the people in this country didn't believe we would have a proper sunny, summer. But,-dramatic pause- we are getting a heatwave! Wooo!
Starting today, over the next two weeks, we're supposed to be getting up to 33 degrees Celsius of sunshine! That is 86 degrees Fahrenheit!
So, to this country, it's going to be like we're abroad! And, having never been abroad before (don't tell anyone!) I am so excited!
This is due to the high pressure zone from the Azores, blocking out the low pressure of the Atlantic!
Enjoy your two weeks of sun, sand, tans and bikinis!
Now for some not good news.
John Venables is being release from prison!
John Venables killed James Bulger in the early 90's. If you don't know about this story, then I am shocked!
20 years ago this year, John and his friend Robert Thompson, abducted, tortured and murdered James Bulger, who was only two.
They were both released from prison in 2000, after only serving 7 years in prison. But, in 2010, Venables was arrested again for child porn. He is now getting out on parole.
Now, I live in Merseyside, but I wouldn't be surprised if they sent him to live where I live, due to the fact that they have sent a few known murderers to live here, after being released, such as Mary Bell. I do know where she used to live, and I also know where she lives now, roughly, but I won't say anything.
When Venables was first arrested, he was actually put into the Vardy house, In St. Helens, where I live and was there until two years after I was born, when he was released. Mary Bell was also in this Vardy house, 25 years prior.
