L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Dry Mist review.

 Review~

Appearance -
It's a tin can, what else can I say.
Okay, I actually like the tin, no can...bottle... what is it?
I like tin because I like the feel of it. Don't ask me why, but I do. It's also gold and shiny, and that's something that appeals to me. I also like the way the title is the biggest words there, along with the brand name. These days I don't see a lot of brand names being the biggest font on the product and I think it should be. Yes, the actual name of the product is important but brand is too.

The wide nozzle is one of the reasons I bought this. On the advert it just made it look so easy!
It wasn't.

Application:
You can't see where you spray it so you don't know if you put too much or too little on each spot. When I put it on I feel like I miss spots because I can't see where it goes.
The first time I used the tan, white foam came out of the nozzle instead of spray and it took a few sprays before it started to actually spray instead of spluttering foam.

It put the fake tan on in my bedroom and (although the information said to spray it when stood on a towel and in the bathroom) don't think you need to do it in the bathroom or in a large space. I sprayed it right next to a clean, white wardrobe and it didn't stain or even mark.

Also, it dried straight away. I did spray it too close a few times, but it still dried after about a minute.

When I go into the sun, you can see a slight shimmer that looks healthy and natural.

There is an after tan smell, but it's faint and doesn't smell like the dreaded biscuits. It soft of smells like nuts and I know it's the tan since I don't eat nuts. So, if you like the smell of nuts then great, if not... tough!

It did take me about three days to get even a slight brown tan, and even now it's still very pale. However, it could have something to do with the fact that I got a light tan.
one day one and two there was virtually no change to the colour of my body. On day three, it was darker but not bronzed.

Also, on day one I notice the skin around (but not on) my elbow and also, down the side of my left thigh had gone a deep bronzed colour, that almost looked orange.

The tan doesn't really cover imperfections on the body, in fact it looks almost dirty rather than flawless. On the plus side, you do not get streaks if the apply it properly.

For £15.00 a bottle it's not worth it, the cons outweigh the pros too much. For me, something that's £15.00 and you don't even get a tan isn't worth it.

If I'm going to pay £15.00 for a fake tan, I want it to a least work! I don't want to have to wait three days to get a slight colour, I want it to develop in a few hours or overnight.
