Sometimes it's hard to be happy

So happiness is judged on an awful lot; If you're happy, you should think about those who aren't more, and if you're sad, you're ungrateful.

In some cases, yes it could be said about, but most cases? No.

You can't tell yourself to be happy and you magically will be, just like you can't force yourself to be sad because other people are.

We all get unfairly judged when we show our feelings, which is wrong! Even if nothing bad has happened- even if you're just having a bad day, that's okay. We can still share our feelings, tell somebody about them; Even scream about them in the middle of the street.

We all feel, and it's unfair to judge us based on our feelings.

Take me, my emotions are all over the place, all the time, and I tend to get judged because of it. Sometimes there's something wrong with me, and other times I'm just having an off day. Whichever one it is, getting shouted at because of it is wrong, because I wouldn't shout at other people for having the same feeling's.

My point is, we need to stop judging us based on emotions, we need to care more as it happens to us all.

L'Occitane apres-shampooing shampoo and conditioner review

The name of this set is definitely a mouth-full, however I'm always on the look out for miniature shampoo and especially conditioners to try out.

So, when I stepped into my local co-op and saw In Style magazine coming with this set, I snapped it up straight away.

They're good sized at 50ml each, and are worth £15- which is a good deal for a £2.50 magazine.

I really like the way these bottles are designed, because usually the dispenser in miniatures just pour out. These, however have a squirty small hole, if that makes any sense.

The dispenser is perfect for me, as you squeeze the product out, rather than pour the product out.

I rinsed and repeated my hair with the shampoo, and then left the conditioner in for about 5 minutes.

After rinsing the product out, my hair felt quite scraggly and unwashed, as though it had been raining. Even the conditioner didn't make my hair feel soft.
The bottles claim to have five essential oils and these oils will help your hair feel nourished and restore capillary fibre, as well as softening and detangling your hair. So, far it didn't do that, which was rather annoying as after drying my hair it just felt damaged.

This is after I dried my hair, now my hairs generally thick and I can see a bit of shine on the photo, but my hair just felt very dry and frizzy.

Although, I will say that after I straightened my hair it went quite soft and very shiny, which I was glad of.
I will try this product again in the near future, and will let you know if my opinion has changed.

Tina's death :P

As promised, I said when found, I would post a picture of  me doing Tina's death of Coronation Street.

Alas, I have found it, and am going to share the lovely experience with you.
I think I did a pretty good job at being dead, don't you?

Coronation Street Tour

Yesterday I was lucky enough to go on a tour around the Coronation Street set, which has been a dream of mine for years. Although we weren't actually allowed to take pictures of the sets, we were allowed to take pictures of the street and in the gardens, so I have a vast amount of images to share.

It wasn't at all what I imagined it to be like. the Rovers was extremely small and they explained to us how they take the windows out to shoot scenes. We was allowed to purchase a professional photo of us behind the bar however.

The photo's were available to buy at £7.99 for one, or two for £10.00. You also got to choose between two pictures.

I was extremely shocked to hear that the famous 'Betty's Hotpot' is actually the leftovers from the canteen. Though, at least we now no the secret recipe :)
The beer is also shandy.

We were shown around the sets of old characters houses, the costume and makeup room. I loved Carla's house, and Kens old barge- does anybody remember that?

We also got to see Hayley's coffin, Becky's wedding dress, old memorabilia and all the awards they have won.
We were shown into the room where the actors and actresses learnt there lines, and it wasn't how I imagined it to be, the were 5 couches and a small kitchen. Some characters, old and new also wrote comments on the wall about the tour.

We got to keep our backstage passes.

And now, because I have a lot of photo's to share with you, I will stop typing and start pasting. Please excuse any images that blurry or dark, my sister took the majority of these picture, and we went at night time, because we got told it would give us a better experience. Most of them are also screenshots, due to them being on my sisters phone, so I had to take them off her facebook.

Make-up done and dusted :)

This was Gail's garden, which I were super pleased about sitting on her fake grass.

Ahh Norris.

I was nervous walking down here, in case anyone jumped out on me haha.

Sally's garden.

Just wanted Audrey pop out and do my hair ;)

Looking very awkward there Kate!

Catherine pretending to be dead, apparently doing the 'Tina death' is a popular picture taken here.

So there's some of the few hundred pictures took, I did also have one doing Tina's death and I thought i did a pretty good job being dead, when I find it I'll post the picture.
